What drives us to pack our bags? What are we looking for - and do we really find it? In this guided tour, one of the curators will personally take you on a tour of "Ready for the island".
He tells you which questions were asked at the beginning - and which ones were raised during the work on the exhibition. Why is tourist travel such a recent phenomenon? Do we follow our own dreams - or images, trends and cultural codes? And: How much traveling can the world take at all?
Behind every exhibit is a decision. In this guided tour, you will find out which one - and why. Perhaps you will return with a different perspective: on travel, on the world, on yourself.
