In the organizer's words:

Stella Winter's pictorial worlds combine the aesthetics of the early 2000s with current themes and references from the Internet. Her oil paintings are created with careful planning and detailed photographs, which she rearranges. This combination of different references and materials results in images that appear both strange and familiar at the same time. Winter's fascination with internet culture and images disseminated on the internet is also expressed in a new series that is being shown at the FAK for the first time. In a humorous way, she transforms virtual images into physical media, blurring the boundaries between digital and analog life.

During the guided tour, the curators will provide deeper insights into Stella Winter's works and the concept of the exhibition. Participation is free of charge.

The exhibition is on display until March 22, 2026.
Opening hours: Friday and Saturday 3 to 6 pm, Sunday 12 to 3 pm
