KURZVORFUFFZICH Ensemble Ruhr StreichQuartett feat. Mara Minjoli & Hajo Wiesemann

A few weeks ago, we unfortunately had to cancel the planned concert featuring the Ensemble Ruhr String Quartet with Mara Minjoli and Hajo Wiesemann on short notice. We would like to once again express our sincere gratitude for your understanding and patience over the past few weeks.

The Ensemble Ruhr, the Ruhr region’s chamber orchestra and one of the most innovative and experimental chamber orchestras around, has joined forces with songwriter and singer Mara Minjoli and pianist and composer Hajo Wiesemann in a string quartet formation for a spectacular project. Songwriting meets a high-energy string quartet and rhythmic, percussive piano sounds, rich tones, and sweeping musical phrases. Cinematic, theatrical compositions and arrangements blend with Mara Minjoli’s clear, powerful voice to create an extraordinary musical experience.
