KUU! stands for songs that are intense and emotional. The band combines an extraordinary artistic chemistry with an immediate, uncompromising expressiveness and thus occupies a special position in the current musical landscape.
At the center is the expressive singer Jelena Kuljić. Together with guitarists Kalle Kalima and Frank Möbus and drummer Christian Lillinger, they form a powerful collective that shifts effortlessly between rock, jazz, punk and post-rock.
The music of KUU! is full of energy, multi-layered and always in tune with the times. It picks up on social issues, creates condensation and clarity at the same time and appeals to the mind, body and emotions in equal measure. Sometimes raw and direct, sometimes delicate and atmospheric, the band develops its own unmistakable sound language.
