In the organizer's words:

The Latin American band "La Mano Letal", consisting of former students of the Lübeck University of Music, celebrates its tenth anniversary with you musically.

The program of the anniversary concert is multifaceted: works by Bach and Stravinksy meet music from Latin America, e.g. by Cheo Feliciano, Miguel Matamoros, Chalry García, Fito Páez and Ernesto Lecuona. The symbol of the phoenix stands for the band's eventful history and is also reflected in the program, the image of the mythical bird that dies and rises again from the ashes.

In the first part of the concert, La Mano Letal presents the repertoire from the band's early days. The second part of the concert features pieces of music that deal with farewell, decay and transformation and symbolically reflect the "dying" of the band. Finally, the third part of the concert will feature music that stands for new beginnings, hope and renewal - a musical expression of the resurrection from the ashes.
