Ladaniva's music draws on influences from around the world, from traditional Balkan music to maloya, jazz, reggae and hip-hop with strong roots in Armenian folklore. Determinedly, they combine fresh accents of Armenian folklore with traditional melodies to create rhythmic paintings that speak of understanding and community and the beauty of the world's cultures.

In 2019, Armenian singer Jacqueline Baghdasaryan and French multi-instrumentalist Louis Thomas released the clip for "Vay Aman," creating a veritable summer hit. Later that year, they followed it up with the track "Kef Chilini," which went viral worldwide. In Armenia, France and Southern Europe, Ladaniva have gained a loyal fan base in recent years, with performances in all kinds of locations - on rooftops, in beach bars, clubs and parks.

Ladaniva have just released "Shakar", the first single from their announced debut album: A fusion of Balkan pop, Maloja vibes and hip-hop outbursts, carried by Jacqueline's terrific voice and produced by Jasper Maekelberg (Balthazar / Warhaus). The album, they have revealed, will take us on a musical journey through Europe, Africa and Asia.
