The Cologne Comedy Ladies' Night goes into the next round!

For 30 years, host Nessi Tausendschön has not been bombed off the stage. 30 years of sophisticated shabrackentum, smooth big and small art, amazing dance, melancholic contrite lyricism and beautiful music. When Nessi celebrates the ruptures of life, even the soul-blind in the audience awake from their distanced torpor, the boundaries between inner, remembered mental reality and outer bodily presence, between the public and the private, even the intimate, become blurred and no eye remains dry. In short: as a cabaret artist Nessi has a tongue like a riding whip, but as a singer she has a voice like an angel. A wonderful combination.

How do you get off a train? How does breakfast work? How do you do what I've been doing for years? And how do you actually operate a telephone? You think you know the answers to all these questions - then you're probably a man!

As a woman or a woman-read person, on the other hand, you may have these things explained to you in everyday life often and without being asked. Fee Brembeck is an expert at having her expertise denied, but now turns the tables and explains to the audience, unasked and not without self-irony, how the world works.

Barbara Ruscher asks questions: Who knows exactly who you are? Are you the 'earth, wind and eggs' type with a penchant for keeping your own chickens, but against wind turbines as soon as they are in front of your house? Where does social responsibility begin and where are the limits? Why is the neighbor a nature-loving stand-up paddling fetishist, but has a gravel garden of horror in front of the house? We behave ambivalently and Mother Earth is slowly getting fed up.

Lara Ermer dedicates herself to social zeitgeist topics. Whether it's sexism in everyday life, her own inconsistency in a more sustainable lifestyle, or the lunacy of women's pants pockets and luxury camping - she knows what she's talking about and invites us to look at life through her eyes for an evening. With loving acuity and virtuoso tempo, Ermer gives the audience a brilliant roller coaster ride through the absurdities of everyday life.
