In the organizer's words:
Through the Thuringian State Fellowship for the Visual Arts, the Thuringian Cultural Foundation and SV SparkassenVersicherung offer artists living in the state the opportunity to work intensively on a project for one year and to bring their ideas to life artistically. Since 1997, over 90 artists from Thuringia have been awarded this grant. The results of their creative process are presented the following year in the StipVisite exhibition. The two 2025 scholarship recipients, Susanna Hanna and Elisabeth Oertel, offer a glimpse into their creative work at the Kunsthalle Erfurt. As different as the two artists’ approaches may be, they are united by their exploration of Thuringia’s local and geographical characteristics. While Elisabeth Oertel explores people’s (dis)satisfaction in her project *Archiv der Probleme* (*Archive of Problems* ), Susanna Hanna focuses in *land in between* on the landscape as well as the flora and fauna along the Green Belt.
