Lange Filmnacht

In the organizer's words:

Documentary short films, film and television clips from four decades in the exhibition "Today still, tomorrow already".

To mark the 35th anniversary of the Berlin Constitution, a long film night awaits you at the Museum Nikolaikirche from 4 to 11 pm. As part of our special exhibition "Today still, tomorrow already", we will be showing you cinematic perspectives on Berlin in the 1990s from the afternoon until late at night. Nine large-format screens with headphones offer unique insights into this time of upheaval.

Every hour there will be an opportunity to meet one of the directors involved in the exhibition in person. Short introductions, moderated by the curators Suy Lan Hopmann, Florian Wüst and Elke Neumann, open up the exchange between audience and filmmakers. A bar offers drinks and invites you to get into conversation with each other.

This event is part of our program for the 35th anniversary of the Berlin Constitution.
