Lange Nacht der Kultur: Aquarius Narrativus

This year we are once again taking part in the Long Night of Culture, this time with a guest performance by Sophia Bizer, Bremen. With her play

*AQUARIUS NARRATIVUS*

Sophia Bizer uses an aquarium filled with water in an intimate performance. She uses various objects, mechanisms and physical effects to create a sensual theatrical experience under, on and above the surface of the water. Minimalist images emerge and enable a multifaceted play with perspectives. Thematically, she delves into questions of the blurring of boundaries between living beings on land and in the water. What might a dystopian world look like in which the boundaries between different habitats are dissolved?
