LANGE NACHT DER WISSENSCHAFTEN - Leipzig weiß Bescheid!
In the organizer's words:
Together with the GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts, we discover, explore and create for the Long Night of Science! At our hands-on documentation station, you can record objects yourself and become part of the museum collection. At the "Colorful fabric stories" you can print symbols and patterns from all over the world and discover their meaning.
A special highlight is the lecture and workshop "Woven Baskets" with the Brazilian researcher Caio Pagin, who will give insights into his work with our collection and demonstrate traditional weaving techniques for you to join in.
