"Horizon" is a trio and a string quartet, and world music compositions between Europe and South America.

Along a silken string of sound, L'art de Passage weave sound paintings and soundscapes that create states of the unheard and danceable, the dreamed and illusionary.

Milonga, samba, tango and chamamé illuminate only a small part of the multifaceted evening program. Between harmony and contrast, sprawling improvisations and minimalist motifs, classical music and jazz, trance and passion - the encounter between these three plus four musicians is a special experience.

Under the name L'art de Passage, the musicians Stefan Kling (piano), Tobias Morgenstern (accordion) and Wolfgang Musick (bass) have been playing together for over 25 years. They push their skills and their joy of playing to the limit. They treat well-known and original compositions with irreverence and skill. Surprising improvisations end in minimalist motifs - classical music becomes jazz.

The string quartet have known each other since their youth and have gone through several artistic stages together. The four musicians have long accompanied various concert and CD productions by the group L'art de Passage and Theater am Rand.
