LAS HIENAS

Las Hienas is an electrifying seven-piece all-female band from Rotterdam. Since its founding in January 2023, the band has been making a powerful impact on the music scene by performing works by female composers as well as their own compositions. The band is currently working on their first EP, scheduled for release in 2026.

Las Hienas’ diverse musical spectrum ranges from Afro-Cuban beats to contemporary salsa and Andean folklore, as well as traditional Caribbean rhythms and the varied influences of jazz. Their high-energy live performances thrill audiences and have already been featured at renowned festivals in the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, including Días Latinos, the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Karneval der Kulturen, and the Riviera Latina Festival.
