In the organizer's words:

LAVINIA (she/her) writes her songs like you write letters - that you never send. But
instead of letting unspoken thoughts disappear quietly in your coat pocket, they end up in
her songs - honest, intimate and full of contradictions and ambiguities.
Between German indie, alternative rock and moving lyricism, the artist from
Hanover takes us out of the big city at night to a distant, dreamy coastal location. The
German 2010s pop-rock bands such as "Wir sind Helden" or "Juli" have inspired her.

LAVINIA opens a new deep blue chapter with the new EP "Zeig mir, wie man schwimmt". The new songs become messages to old friends and tell of comforting wanderlust, courageous decisions and relationships that either drift or capsize in the whirlpools of everyday life.
The recurring figure of 'water' and the color 'blue' become a symbol of flowing change.
