LEAP

With a mixture of indie grunge guitars, hard-hitting percussion and a touch of electronica, LEAP is the new beginning of a band that is about to make big waves. To be seen at WDR Rockpalast 2023, among others!

Leap is already supported by Earmilk, Its All Indie, Fame Magazine, BBC Radio6, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and many more.

LEAP is the new project from London-based troubadour Jack Balfour Scott. Formerly of acclaimed "boundary breaking indie-rock" outfit and Capitol Records signees The Mispers, who ended their run of success in 2018 after gaining a fanatic cult following from their electrifying and somewhat unpredictable live shows, with POPPED Music describing the artist as "the frontman that every singer wants to be".

Born and raised between Edinburgh and Cape Town, as well as studying at music school in Brighton, Jack's internationally diverse background has now bled into the music he creates with the band - an eclectic mix of rock n roll misfits...

After the success of their first albums, countless live appearances, including on the Pro7 TV show Circus Halligalli or at Austria's biggest festivals (including FM4 Frequency Festival, Nova Rock), their own tours and support shows for Foals, Hurts, Provinz and Madsen, Please Madame have now firmly established themselves in the German-speaking music calendar. The Salzburg indie rock quartet's album "Angry Boys, Angry Girls", released in September 2021, promptly landed at number 25 in the Austrian album charts for two weeks and has been performed on stage at almost 80 concerts in the last two years alone.

Dominik Wendl (voc., git.), Laurenz Strasser (git.), Martin Pöheim (bass) and Niklas Mayr (drums) captivate the audience with their irresistible live energy and conduct them - and themselves - to peak performances with an impressive naturalness.

Over the past few months, they have also been getting carried away in the studio and working on new music, which will be released in 2024 and with which they will also go on tour again!
