When the mayor of Bachenklaff has passed away, the merits of the deceased must of course be honored with a funeral feast. The community doesn't miss out on this either, especially when the misdeeds of the fun-loving Erich come up after a few beers and full stomachs. And there were quite a few. So when the pastor and notary are fighting over the succession, the grieving widow isn't so sad and the children are fighting over the inheritance, the landlady can only say: "Well, that was a good time again!"
