The Norwegian painter and graphic artist Edvard Munch (1863-1944) is considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Tanja Langer delves deep into the psyche of the painter, who decided at the age of 17 to dedicate his life to art. In her literary approach, the author reveals his struggles, fears and passions. In poetic language, she provides a fascinating and knowledgeable insight into the world of the artist, who fathomed the most subtle processes of the soul and at the same time invented radical forms. Free admission.
