If ever the much-used phrase "living for music" was justified, then it was probably with her: Member of the children's choir at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, teenage street musician, school and boarding school years at the Landesmusikgymnasium Rheinland-Pfalz, where she received classical singing lessons and gained experience as a singer in jazz combos and big bands, performer in musical productions at the Koblenz Youth Theater, singer in a funk-afrobeat-jazz formation performing throughout Europe, student at the Musikhochschule... This musical CV is far from exhaustive. In 2016, she won first prize in the national "Jugend musiziert" competition in the "pop singing" category.

Singer and songwriter Nora Beisel, who comes from the Palatinate, is a storyteller who accompanies her German-language songs with a touching voice on the guitar or piano. The Leipzig song scene is delighted to now have Nora Beisel as a valued colleague in Leipzig.
