Who cycles the most - in Germany, Saxony or Leipzig? To find out, from May to September, over a million people in thousands of municipalities will get on their bikes and compete against each other in the world's biggest cycling competition: CITY CYCLING!
Leipzig has been taking part in CITY CYCLING since 2009. This year, you can pedal with us from August 29 to September 18, 2025 - to drive forward the traffic turnaround and continue to promote cycling culture in a sustainable and positive way. No other campaign sends a clearer signal for more climate protection and safe cycling.
