Leo in the Lioncage break genre boundaries with their unique sound. Rousing rhythms, crisp horns and soulful vocals create a unique musical experience with which the newcomer band conquers club and festival stages.

Stylistic influences from Afro-Cuban Latin, reggae and funk guarantee a summery fiesta that invites you to dance, enjoy and dream in equal measure.

With the album New Oceans, the newcomer band has already been heard on stages such as the Wilwarin Mainstage and Jazz Baltica, where star trombonist Nils Landgren performed with the band.

The debut album will be followed by a series of further releases in 2026, freshly recorded in Scandinavian studios and with the usual variety of sounds.

Originally formed in the north of Germany, the musicians have been performing in Germany's cultural capitals for several years now: Berlin, Hamburg, Mannheim and Leipzig.

At their concerts, the music of the nine-piece band behind frontwoman Leo takes you into a world full of new beginnings and new chapters, faraway places and magical nights.
