Lesen für Bier
In the organizer's words:
A special participatory format is being created this evening at the Pflastermühle in Ladenburg. Bea Herzog and her guest Ludwig3nein4 accept anything the audience hands them: a curiously translated instruction, a favorite poem they have brought with them or a spontaneously jotted-down found object. As soon as they read it, the text is transformed, suddenly taking on a different sound, a new meaning, perhaps even a surprising comedy.
While glasses clink in the background and fresh beer is poured, an atmosphere is created that is easy to be drawn into: unplanned, lively, carried from moment to moment. If you contribute a text yourself, you can hope for a freshly tapped thank you. Those who simply listen will often find themselves laughing, marveling or nodding in agreement. The evening develops as if by itself, guided by the words chosen by the audience and the two who give them voice and color. A format that cannot be pinned down - and therefore needs to be experienced.
