About the performers:
Astrid Lindgren (1907–2002) created such unforgettable characters as Pippi Longstocking and Emil from Lönneberga. Among other honors, she was awarded the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade.
Katrin Engelking, born in 1970, works as a freelance illustrator. For Oetinger, she gave Pippi Longstocking a new look, among other projects. She lives with her family in Hamburg.
Cäcilie Heinig, born in 1882 in Koschmin near Danzig, came from a Jewish family. In 1933, she emigrated with her husband and children, first to Copenhagen and then, in 1940, to Stockholm.
Note:
Please book one ticket per child so that we can provide enough seating.
Parents who wish to actively participate in the event themselves and sit next to their child also need a ticket. All guests with a ticket are guaranteed a seat, can actively participate in the event, and can get an autograph.
Parents who are simply accompanying their child to the store and are not participating in the event themselves do not need a ticket and may remain in the rest of the bookstore during the event. Please note: Guests without a ticket are not entitled to a seat in the event area.
