In the organizer's words:

In her book, the author lets women in midlife have their say through voice messages. In an honest, intimate and semi-anonymous form, women talk about how they live today, how they deal with strokes of fate, social change, ageing and exhaustion.

Whether single parents, women who have lost their homes, mothers with frayed nerves or women who say they are doing well - they all find themselves in a chorus of female voices that shows in an unembellished way where an entire generation stands. A literary evening about courage, friendships, love and the power of shared perspectives.

What you can expect at the event:

• Reading from selected voicemails
• Moderated discussion with the author
• Insight into the creation and background of the texts
• Opportunity for exchange and networking

After the reading, guests will have the opportunity to talk to the author and ask her questions. The event will be moderated by Asya Aldiri and Chiara Lo Russo.
