Lesung mit Aron Boks aus seinem Buch: „Starkstromzeit"
In the organizer's words:
The author Aron Boks reads from his new book: "Starkstromzeit. About life in a state that no longer exists". It is a personal GDR story in which Boks follows the trail of a lamp designed by his grandfather - a search for traces of Gen. Z, which shows how objects and design from a vanished state shine and have an effect long after the system has disappeared.
The occasion is the launch of the "Gateway to Freedom?!" project by the Public History Department at the University of Hamburg and the State Agency for Civic Education, which is looking for new ways to make GDR history visible and open to discussion in Hamburg.
The event is also an opportunity to get to know the project and its aims.
