On June 10 at 19:30, Mareike Fallwickl will be reading from her new book "Und alle so still" at the Colosseum in Gleimstraße.
A great feminist social novel about the spirit of contradiction and solidarity
One Sunday in June, the world is thrown off kilter: women lie on the street. Motionless, in silent protest. This is where the paths of Elin, Nuri and Ruth cross. Elin, in her early twenties, a successful influencer, to whom something has happened that she doesn't know if it was violence. Nuri, nineteen, who dropped out of school and tries to keep his head above water as a bike courier, bed pusher and food delivery boy. Ruth, in her mid-fifties, who works as a nurse in a hospital and whose sense of duty seems inexhaustible.
It is the beginning of a revolt in which women no longer do what they have always done. Suddenly everything our system is based on is called into question. Will Elin, Nuri and Ruth seize the opportunity for change?
