The Freischütz invites you to an inspiring evening.
The focus is on a reading and a discussion with Prof. Elvira Jankowski about her autobiography published at the end of last year
"As a working-class child, from the Köttelbecke to success in a male profession".
In personal memories and open conversations, Prof. Jankowski talks about her life, origins, education, resistance and successes - and about how she asserted herself in a traditionally male-dominated professional field. The reading offers space for exchange, questions and joint reflection.
The evening will be accompanied by classic, down-to-earth Ruhrpott cuisine: meatballs with creamed kohlrabi and boiled potatoes, with semolina flummery with dipping milk and raspberry sauce for dessert.
An evening to listen, think and enjoy.
