The Israeli writer Etgar Keret is one of the most important literary voices of our time. His short stories are as bizarre as they are profound, masterfully balancing humor and melancholy, reality and surreal exaggeration. 2025 sees the publication of his new collection of short stories - a collection that once again demonstrates Keret's unique narrative style. At this event, Etgar Keret will read from his new work in English and talk to Yevgen Bruckman (liberal Jewish community of Hanover) about his stories, their genesis and current social issues. The language of the event will be mainly English, but short summaries will be given in German to make the content accessible to all. The moderator will be Tara Falsafi.
