"Heartbreaking and outrageously good" says SWR about Necati Öziri's debut novel "Vatermal". As part of the "AufBruch" format, he reads from his book and talks about it with Sasha Marianna Salzmann. Salzmann, born in 1985 in Volgograd, has received several awards for her*his novels, plays and essays. Öziri is a writer and theater maker - he was shortlisted for the German Book Prize 2023 with "Vatermal". His style is characterized in particular by his ability to combine academic discourse and everyday language.
