From revolutionary mythology to woke bullshit - post-factual dynamics do not only come from the right. This is shown in the book "Zurück nach vorn" (Alibri-Verlag 2025), which focuses on the trials and tribulations of the (radical) left. In the lecture, co-author Holger Marcks explains the epistemic problems of left-wing politics, illustrated with concrete examples.

Holger Marcks is a social scientist with a focus on radicalization and polarization, especially in the digital context. He works on right-wing extremism and Islamism, but also on the phenomenology of the radical left. He previously studied Islamic Studies, Sociology and Modern History at the Free University of Berlin.
