Veith Sprenger worked as a nurse, entertainer, domestic help, educator, delivery man and journalist. He studied medicine in Frankfurt am Main and theater in Giessen. He is a founding member of the artist group Showcase Beat Le Mot, with whom he has developed and performed more than forty theater pieces worldwide. He has co-curated international exhibitions and festivals and produced short films, music videos and radio plays. As an author and theater maker, he has worked with Thies Mynther (Phantom Ghost), Gudrun Gut, Alex Murray-Leslie (Chicks on Speed) and Andreas Dorau, among others. His writings on theater have been published by Theater heute, tanz and kunstforum, among others, and have been translated into several languages.
