A play about the climate crisis and young people fighting for their future

WHERE TO. So that more and more people wake up and join in. We have a chance. Maybe it's the last one. Shall we seize it?

WHAT. This is the story of three young people who are trying to shake the world awake by various means. So that we finally wake up and prevent the great climate catastrophe. Will they succeed?

A play that involves the audience, asks questions and seeks answers. Exciting and humorous, critical, hopeful and entertaining. "Last Chance!" is a continuation of "Tribute of Burgina".

HOW. Three climate activists meet and tell their stories: Peggy comes from Ukraine and is not only worried about the war but also about its impact on the climate. Nala is personally affected by the destruction of the Hambi villages, was part of Fridays for Future and is considering joining the last generation. Cornelius is the son of an RWE manager and became a climate activist through the Hambi movement.

The three of them are among the (young) people who are fighting for their future. Among the activists who are using various means to fight to prevent the climate catastrophe. Whether as part of the climate movement around Hambi, as activists with Fridays for Future or with the Last Generation. They ask: What achieves what? How can we involve as many people as possible? Is every protest okay? Can we seize this - perhaps last - opportunity and finally change our attitudes and actions? What can we do?

WHY. Climate change is here. Climate catastrophes are getting closer and closer or are already here. Can we still avert the great climate crisis? Or are we the last generation? With our new climate piece, we want to continue to tell the story of people who are courageously and actively fighting to prevent the climate crisis from becoming a catastrophe. To ensure that younger people in particular still have a future.
