With the LGBTQIA* Winterdays and the Christmas Avenue 2023, the LGBTQI* community invites to an open get-together at Nollendorfplatz in the pre-Christmas season.

Protected from wind and rain under the roof of the Hochbahn at Nollendorfplatz station, Christmas Avenue has long since established itself as a popular scene meeting place in the pre-Christmas season. Here you can experience the diverse and colorful life of the capital'sLGBTQIA* community live on site.

Unusual sales booths attract with decorative items, handicrafts and fashionable accessories. Look forward to colorful twinkling Christmas lights, exuberant atmosphere, street food and a selection of hot cocktails and culinary delights.

Setting an example together

Together with many actors from politics and community, a sign against discrimination and exclusion will be set here with glittering lights and exuberant mood. The aim is to create a special place during the Christmas season where the entire community can feel at home - in the place that has been the entrance to Berlin's Regenbogenkiez for a hundred years. From here you can easily and quickly reach most of the bars and clubs of the scene.

Colorful Christmas Market Concept

The community presents itself at many colorful booths. There is also a lot of Christmas stuff to marvel at, as well as delicious street food, hot cocktails, mulled wine and traditional Christmas treats.

Every year, the gay and lesbian community rings in the season of charity with a very special stage program in the run-up to Christmas Avenue.

Winterdays with focus on LGBTQIA* issues

Traditionally, the community focuses on LGBTQIA* issues during the first ten days. From November 10 to November 25, you will have the opportunity to learn about the special concerns of the scene. During these Winterdays, associations, organizations and initiatives of the LGBTQIA* community can present themselves and their cause, use the party area for free and report on their work on stage. The stage program will be accompanied by Marie Mondieu.

Stage program of the Christmas Avenue

Once again this year, the Christmas Avenue stage program promises plenty of glitter. Performers from the community and, of course, friends of the LGBTQIA community will keep the spirits high. Leading the way is the enchanting emcee Marie Mondieu. Happy Hour every Monday

• On Tuesday there are many prizes to be won at the legendary Drag Bingo with the terrific Margot Schlönzke.
• On Wednesdays from 6.30 p.m. it gets especially Christmassy. At karaoke, Marie Mondieu gets brave singers up to the microphone. And of course there will be presents.
• DJs from Berlin's LGBTQIA* club scene will once again be on hand to provide entertainment with a colorful and diverse program.
