L'Homme et la Musique

An evening of acting and music. With Jakob Gühring

French, Italian and Swiss-German chansons interpreted by actors on piano, guitar and accordion. Texts by Simone de Beauvoir and Julio Cortázar playfully link the songs and their performers and form the framework for the evening's content. The chansons oscillate between joy and love, grief and death, anger and enthusiasm.

Jakob Gühring works as an actor for film and television and in theater, and has many years of experience as a pianist, speaker and musician. Other artistic activities include readings, work as a presenter, the musical or literary design of an evening, as a supporting program at vernissages or other events and work as a performer.
