Liberation Dance - KEINE ZEIT ZU VERGESSEN

In the organizer's words:

Among the victims of National Socialism were swing dancers and jazz musicians who were persecuted by the Nazi regime because of their passion for jazz and swing. Jazz music was banned as "degenerate music" as a result of the regime's racist and anti-Semitic attitude.

To mark the Day of Liberation from National Socialism on May 8, the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility, Future (EVZ) is inviting Berlin's urban society to the Liberation Dance in memory of the victims of the Nazi regime. Become part of the choreography together with experienced swing dancers and set an example for freedom and solidarity with one another and against hatred and agitation
