19:00 - 21:00 | Video projection "650 years of Lichtenrade"

As part of the autumn festival in the John-Locke-Siedlung, the art collective 123comis draws and animates live and transforms the façade into a spectacular play of light and color. The project is inspired by the eventful history of Lichtenrade - from a small village with fields and meadows to a lively Berlin district that is home to many people today. Memories of the time of the Berlin Wall, which once bordered Lichtenrade, are just as much a part of it as the (flying) hippos from the square of the same name. The result is an interplay of art, history and the present that celebrates the district. Come along and be surprised!

The projection will be accompanied by an atmospheric DJ set that will provide the right musical mood.

There will also be homemade potato and pea soup and freshly baked bread from the wood-fired oven (both free of charge) - perfect for an autumn evening on Nilpferdplatz!
