A dance and choreographic exploration of the emotion of connection: a work in progress performance by Celia Hickey and Sebastian Knipp

For the second time, Celia Hickey and Sebastian Knipp would like to enter into an artistic collaboration as part of szene machen! This time it will be about LOVE. Love as a feeling, as a source of strength, as a connecting element. Because connection is so urgently needed at a time when it can feel as if we are more divided than connected.

The central theme of the work is the fluid interplay between closeness/approach and distance/distance in the context of the environment, with others, but also with ourselves. The dancers Celia Hickey and Sebastian Knipp negotiate this theme on an interpersonal and physical level.
