Double concert with LISKA and SHIMMER.

LISKA

Soccer commentator or singer - Liska always knew she had to be one of the two. But she can also become a sports reporter later. The young artist has just signed with FOUR Music and is making a name for herself with her songs, which range from melancholic noir pop to hypnotizing Jersey trance.

"For me, my songs are like diary entries or maybe even pages in a photo album. When I hear a song of mine, I immediately remember how I felt at that moment and that helps me to process things. But even if they are my story, they are there for everyone who feels the same way."

Liska was born in Constance in 2004 and started screaming as soon as she was born. "I was constantly screaming, day and night," liska remembers. "Until I was constantly and always hoarse." It was only when she started singing in the children's choir her mother had founded that her voice recovered. But liska not only sings, she also writes stories. First just on sheets of paper, then in folders and finally whole folders filled with her stories. She turns them into songs and accompanies herself on the piano. First with tutorials and then by feel.

"I just kept going with it and didn't really realize that it was turning into real songs," liska recalls. "But at some point I was able to turn the feelings in the stories into melodies." A few songs found their way into liska's Insta story and eventually to Four Music. During the first session with the multi-platinum producer in Düsseldorf, liska's first single called "snooze" was created.

The singer doesn't press "snooze" to a hypnotic Jersey trance of bouncing kicks and dreamy synths - neither on her own nor after last night's ONS. The debut single by the newcomer from Constance is a song about lying to yourself and regretting it the next morning. A wake-up call after you'd better not press the snooze button again. No small talk, no stopover in the bathroom - just out and over.

SHIMMER.

...makes indie pop with influences from disco and funk with German lyrics and completely dispenses with backing tracks or playbacks.

The four from Stuttgart make their music exclusively live - for the love of music. This unique atmosphere is noticeable at their gigs and that's what March 2025 is all about.
