Darling, I've brought you flowers!
The beautiful uselessness of bouquets. They are expensive and then just wither on the dining table, but at the same time: in the early days of the pandemic, when all stores were supposed to close, florists were allowed to stay open. They were considered socially relevant. After all, everyone is happy to receive a bouquet of flowers. It is a symbol of comfort, affection and appreciation. So any opportunity to give each other a bouquet of flowers is a good opportunity, isn't it?
The four Hamburg authors Julia Herrgesell, Herbert Hindringer, Dagrun Hintze and Till Raether are writing texts on this very title for the reading "Darling, I brought you flowers!". It could be a poem, a short story, a memoir or a literary essay. After all, what does it ultimately mean when your loved one brings you flowers?
Of course, a flower reading wouldn't be a flower reading if there weren't bouquets to buy. These come from the young and innovative florist Pflanz Kafka. And who knows, maybe you yourself will return home after the evening, open the door and say: "Darling, I brought you flowers!".

A ticket is required for this event. If the event is not fully booked or tickets have not been redeemed up to 15 minutes before the start of the event, you will have the opportunity to buy these tickets at the Box Office.
