Liedertour der MS Weltfrieden: Fête de la musique
In the organizer's words:
For the Fête de la Musique 2026, the Liedertour is turning the MS Weltfrieden into a floating song stage!
On June 21, the SCHÜLLER band will board the traditional passenger ship and sail along the waterways in the west of Leipzig as a music barge from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Every hour on the hour, the MS Weltfrieden will sail to seven different locations on the Karl Heine Canal and the Weiße Elster, where musical guests from the local music scene will take turns to play for 30 minutes, ranging from chanson to hippie sounds.
The audience can experience this special concert experience with their own boats from the water or on foot or by bike from the shore.
