Paul Millns, the veteran musician from Norfolk—and yes, that’s certainly a fitting title for him, having celebrated his 80th birthday last year at Goseck Castle—presents both new and older songs from his vast repertoire during his rather rare solo concerts. With his musical dexterity at the piano and the sound of his rough, smoky voice, the blues-and-soul poet has been captivating his audience for over four decades with intelligent and sensitive songs, and has enjoyed a loyal fan base in Germany since a highly acclaimed performance at the legendary “Rockpalast” in 1980, he has been able to count on a loyal fan base in Germany.

His poetry is rooted in his subtle observations, clever reflections on political and social issues, and profound insights into life’s values. And so, on his solo song tour, the singer, songwriter, and pianist amazes audiences with a selection of brand-new pieces, well-known hits, and rarely performed gems—in memory of his recently deceased longtime musical partner and friend, guitarist and blues harp player Butch Coulter—an experience of the senses and passion.
