Life Out of the Box! Auf- und Gegenwind für Menschen im Wassersport - Workshop zur Dauerausstellung im Wassersportmuseum Grünau
In the organizer's words:
What opportunities did and do women like Ida Cramer, people with visual impairments like Matthias Wodtke, and Jewish people like Fritz Pfeffer have in water sports? How did the Ernst family cope with the effects of the division of Germany on their boatbuilding business? And what significance does the Grünau regatta course hold for multiple gold medalist Anita Šach? The students explore the biographies of people who had—or still have—a connection to water sports in Grünau. From a research-based perspective, they critically examine the individual spheres of opportunity and action available to these individuals and identify connections to their own lives.
