In the organizer's words:
In 2024, Johanna Strobel set herself the task of translating the life story of the Danish artist and trans* woman Lili Elbe (Veilje, 1882-1931, Dresden) into fashion. As part of her costume design studies at the Dresden University of Fine Arts, she designed two costumes based on historical images. The show outlines the path from idea to realization and at the same time takes a look at Lili Elbe's biography.
