Print your own textiles

Welcome to our creative lino printing workshop for parents and children! In this fun and educational course, you will discover the fascinating world of lino printing together. The workshop journey begins with an introduction to the basics of linocut. Step by step, we will show you how to choose your own motif or be guided by our inspiring examples. Together we will turn your ideas into sketches and then transfer them to the linocut printing plate or printing block. This is where artistic freedom comes to the fore as we carve the contours and details of your design into the linoleum using special tools. After your artwork is designed, we move on to the process of rolling with special printing ink for fabric and paper. You will learn how to apply the ink evenly to the printing plate to achieve the best possible result. The highlight of the workshop is the actual printing process on your chosen medium. T-shirts, bags, pencil cases, bags or other textiles made of 100% cotton are suitable for this. Please bring these to the workshop - we recommend washing the textiles once beforehand to ensure that the ink lasts longer. Together you will be amazed at how your unique lino prints take shape and come to life. This workshop will not only produce creative works of art, but also precious memories that you will create together.
