Create your own prints on paper or cards

In this evening workshop, you’ll develop your own design, transfer it to linoleum, and turn it into a printing plate. Step by step, you’ll learn how to turn an idea into a linocut and then into a finished print.

You’ll work with cutting tools, ink, rollers, and paper, and can produce your design as an art print or a card. This allows you to create small series, personal designs, or special greeting cards.

What to expect

• Introduction to linocut and linoprinting
• Developing your own design
• Transferring the design onto a linoleum plate
• Working with cutting tools, inks, rollers, and hand presses
• Printing on paper or cards
• Assistance with the motif, cutting, and printing process

• No prior experience required
• Materials and tools are provided
• Feel free to bring your own design ideas or templates
• Please wear clothes that can get stained
• The workshop will take place with a minimum of 10 participants.
