Austrian Lisa Pauline Wagner is one of the most distinctive voices on the German-speaking poetry slam scene. As an author, slammer and presenter, the German Poetry Slam runner-up (2022) and Berlin champion (2023) stands for texts that combine linguistic precision with a clear social stance. Her performances are characterized by subtle humour, political acuity and a great closeness to the audience - personal, clever and unmistakable.

Lisa Pauline Wagner has been at home on the big and small stages of Berlin and beyond for many years. Her texts deal with questions of identity, power, gender roles and social responsibility without being preachy. Rather, they unfold their effect through observation, pointed images and a haunting performance that lingers for a long time.

Lisa Pauline Wagner is one of the figureheads of the cultural collective and poetry start-up "Kiezpoeten". She stands for contemporary spoken word art that shows attitude, entertains and touches - and for a Berlin scene that is political, diverse and literarily relevant.
