Literarischer Spaziergang „Über den Dächern“

In the organizer's words:

Lisa Klosterkötter, winner of the Kunststiftung NRW art prize, is designing a multi-part exhibition and event format - the Kunstmuseum Gelsenkirchen and its surroundings will be transformed into a place of encounter. Performative readings, artistic interventions and collaborative formats will involve various locations around the museum building and invite visitors to move around freely, listen and enter into conversation with one another. The museum's self-image as a place of reflection and experience for the general public also comes to the fore.

On May 21, 2026, Lisa Klosterkötter invites you to a literary walk around the museum building at 7 p.m. entitled Über den Dächern, conceived by BRACHE. BRACHE is a newspaper for new literature from the Ruhr area founded in 2025 and published by Esra Canpalat, Lukas Hermann and Julienne De Muirier. Elena Agebo, Greta Linde and Orliane Yomi will be reading.

The exhibition project Ein Dorf by Lisa Klosterkötter is also part of the 24-hour museum series and can therefore be viewed from outside at any time outside regular opening hours. Here, the artist presents the installation "A touch of library" together with Gesa Kolb and Corinne Riepert.
