OVERSÁEZ TRIO

"OVERSÁEZ (Sáez/Westergaard/Ott) is a piano trio from Berlin. In January 2025, the trio recorded their debut album at the legendary MPS studio in Villingen. OVERSÁEZ combines a mixture of European classical music, jazz elements and open improvisation. The music is characterized by a mixture of structured, well thought-out compositions and free, intuitive moments. The new album "Abstract emotions" was released on June 13, 2025 on Boomslang Records." Sandro Sáez on his release: "Abstract Emotions is a reflection on the struggles and complexities I've faced over the past year. It was a time of loss, followed by overwhelming feelings and confusion - feelings that often seemed impossible to put into words. With words we try to define our shared human experiences, but words can never truly capture the depth of our feelings.

We may have to accept that others will never truly understand our journey and that we, in turn, may never fully understand theirs. With this album, I attempt to bridge that gap by offering my music as a means to translate these abstract emotions into something tangible, something I can share with the world.
