Ljuzem Madiljin/Tjimur Dance Theatre, Ljuzem’s Walk

"Ljuzem's Walk" is an invitation to the audience to accompany the founder and artistic director of the Tjimur Dance Company, Ljuzem Madiljin, on a ritual path through the garden city of Hellerau. Barefoot, in splendid traditional Paiwan wedding dress, Ljuzem Madiljin follows paths in Hellerau that connect the past, present and future. Depending on the significance of the places, she will silently perform a personal ritual on her path. In this way, she will enter into a spiritual interaction with the place, the people and the time. All viewers are invited to join Ljuzem on this path of life in a meditative mood.
