LOLAB

In the organizer's words:

Lolab transforms Kreuzberg venue into cultural sanctuary for year-end gathering

Berlin's creative community will gather at Paul-Lincke-Ufer 40 on December 13th for an ambitious day-to-night event combining workshops, performances, and celebration. The 14-hour program, running from noon to 2am, aims to create space for migrant and creative communities to connect as the year draws to close.

The event splits into two distinct phases. Afternoon workshops tackle personal growth and social awareness—one exploring everyday racism and resilience, another focused on releasing negative patterns. Both sessions welcome all participants while centering migrant and underrepresented voices.

As evening arrives, the venue shifts into celebration mode. Dance therapy sessions blend with curated music selections, while a drag performance featuring Miss Camila anchors the entertainment lineup. Contemporary dance, a runway show spotlighting diaspora designers, and digital visual art installations fill out the program.

Attendees can browse a makers market supporting local talent, receive tarot and astrology readings, or sample Colombian cuisine throughout the day. Organizers request volunteer participation donations, keeping the event accessible while sustaining community programming.

The gathering reflects Berlin's evolving cultural landscape, where creative communities increasingly create their own spaces for expression and connection outside traditional venues.
