Hardly anyone has taken everyday absurdities to such ingenious extremes as Vicco von Bülow, alias Loriot. His keen eye, sharp tongue and unerring sense of comedy are still unsurpassed.

What happens when two gentlemen suddenly find themselves sitting in a bathtub together? What is the eighth episode of the British TV thriller "The Two Cousins" actually about? Questions upon questions that only Loriot can answer best.

He is considered the old master of German humor. His sketches have made television history, his dialogues have been immortalized in the collective memory of many viewers. And his "dramatic works" have also become classics on the theater stage.
